ONCE UPON A TIME...
There was a mum troubled by the lack of fun and imaginative toys for her children. Baffled by this, Joyce Keelan set out on her ambitious journey to come up with creative, pretend-play toys that would light up any child's imagination. Fast-forward 30 years and her endeavours transcended into the vastly successful lifestyle brand Great Pretenders, which designs and manufactures award-winning toys, jewellery, and accessories.

Great Pretenders believe that “dress-up” is so much more than just putting on a costume. Through pretend play kids develop their imagination and creative thinking skills. Pretending develops communication skills and an outlet for expressing feelings and fears. When designing each costume, Great Pretenders keep in mind the difficulties disabled children may face when finding dress-ups and strive to create products for all children. These costumes are hand-made with quality fabrics, trims, flowers and accessories. From every bow to every bobble, each item is hand-selected to make sure the costumes are impeccably made. Look for the Maple Leaf seal on all the Made in Canada products.

Shipping - Domestic
Standard shipping is a flat $14 fee.
Heavy or Large goods will be charged at a higher rate of $20-$25
Pick Up
You can choose to pick up at our store at 111 Maling Road, Canterbury VIC, just select this option at checkout. We will send you an email advising you when your order is ready for collection.
FAULTY RETURNS
We will replace or refund any faulty products. Please return to store with valid proof of purchase.
Faulty products can be returned for a full refund or exchange providing the following conditions are met:
- Please contact us first.
- The returned product is received by us within 20 days from the date of initial shipment.
- Products have been unused, unwashed, and are returned in original packaging in original condition.

Maling Road Toyshop cannot be responsible for items lost, damaged or undelivered while in transit. If you are worried about this please email us at hello@malingroadtoyshop.com.au before you order, so we can organise insuring your package. Lost or undelivered items will not be replaced or refunded.
